Plant and process engineer (m/f/d)

Start: immediately - Location: Herbolzheim - Work Time: Full-time in three-shift operation

In your role as Plant and Process Engineer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the operation, continuous optimisation and maintenance of one of our roll-to-roll vacuum systems. You will carry out customer-specific coating processes independently and in close coordination with production management according to specifications, thereby having a direct influence on the company's operational activity. Your daily tasks will include coating flexible plastic film using sputter technology, preparing and following up on the system for subsequent customer projects, and carrying out minor maintenance tasks independently and as part of a team. You will also work closely with the R&D department.

Qualifications:

  • Process design and control: You have knowledge and experience in the deposition of thin films in a vacuum and in the development and monitoring of production processes.
  • Analytical skills: A high level of analytical thinking to assess complex challenges within a team and find effective solutions.
  • Process and plant engineering: Expertise in the fields of vacuum technology and separation processes is required in order to understand and implement technical requirements.
  • In addition, experience in production and plant engineering as well as good teamwork skills are desirable. A degree in a relevant technical or engineering field would be desirable, but is not a mandatory requirement.
  • Willingness to work in three shifts
