ROWO has two modern slitting and rewinding machines from Kampf. This enables us to cut the substrates to almost any length and width according to customer requirements. One of the two cutting machines is located in a class 6 clean room and is used to wrap and cut substrates that are subject to increased hygiene and cleanliness requirements due to their use in the medical technology, solar or food industries.
An optical inspection system from RAM makes it possible to identify defects in the coated substrates down to a size of
0.02 mm² during cutting and rewinding, even at web speeds
of 400 m/min.
In addition, the system has a suction device that removes particles down to 1 µm from the surface.
